If your child is in Kindergarten - 8th grade, loves to color, doodle or build at home but isn’t excited about copying a teacher, you’re not alone. Many art programs focus on cookie-cutter projects, where every child’s work looks the same, and they can’t even tell which is theirs without checking for a name.
Dazzle's Color Quest is different!
Say hello to child-choice art! Every activity encourages your child to experiment, explore, and create something truly unique. The magic is in the making, not just the outcome. Each session begins with a quick, 5-minute mini-lesson to introduce a new technique, but after that, the focus is all on choice, creativity, and imagination.
Because at Art Cart Kids, art should be as unique as the child who creates it!

On Dazzle’s Color Quest, your child will discover 12 exciting art mediums, crayon & oil pastels, painted paper, collage, markers, tempera painting, chalk pastel, watercolor, printing, drawing & colored pencil, fiber arts, paper art & Origami plus cardboard & recyclables! They will explore, experiment, and create through playful mini lessons, each one an invitation to dive into new materials and techniques in a way that feels effortless, because learning is simply part of the fun.
Each level of the Color Quest program is designed with different children's abilities in mind. There are 8 different levels for your child to work through.This also means that there can be a variety of ages and abilities in each studio session. This creates a community where older or more advanced artists can become role models and inspiration for younger or less advanced artists.
As your child advances through the 8 levels, they’ll learn fun, new techniques, building confidence as they progress through the rainbow of colored pins & certificates of achievement. Your artists can proudly wear their pins on their FREE apron, each time they visit. This creates a joyful reminder of how far your child has come and a spark of inspiration for those around them.
Every child moves at their own pace, gaining skills, confidence, and a love for art.

At the end of each color challenge, your child will be celebrated, receive a certificate and a new colored pin. By the time your child earns their first certificate, you’ll see an incredible transformation.

This program is set up as a monthly membership. For your convenience your membership will renew automatically each month.The cost is all-inclusive. Your child will receive 4 sessions to use each month and access to all of the art materials and tools. They will receive an apron with our logo and their first pin to proudly display their level on Dazzle's Color Quest and all pins and certificates that they achieve as the years go on. Your child will receive a sketchbook of their very own, each year, to record all the fun techniques they are learning and to plan their artworks.
There is a one time* enrollment fee and then nothing else to pay besides the monthly cost of $70 a month. (Price will increase in August of 2026. but not for you as long as you continue as a member.)

There's the flexible & convenient schedule.
Day Time sessions: Tuesdays at 11 am and any drop-in day when SCPS has no student classes. The more students that join the more class times I can offer, so invite your fellow homeschool friends.

If your child needs to miss a class due to illness, a field trip, etc. You can cancel your session up to 12 hours before the class begins. and reschedule with ease up to 1 hour before any session begins, no wasted classes, no extra fees. Until we have more scheduled homeschool sessions, you may make up your missed session on drop-in days, when SCPS are not in session or during our Art Afterschool sessions.

We do all the clean up! Your child will dive into every medium they love, even those "too messing for home-think glitter," without the cleanup stress. It’s the perfect environment for young artists who crave creative freedom!

Who is this program for?
If your child is in Kindergarten - 8th grade and loves to create, explore, and use their imagination, they’ll feel right at home here. These small group, open-ended, child-choice classes are perfect for kids who enjoy making art in their own unique way.
What will my child do in class?
Every class is centered around creative freedom. As part of Dazzle's Color Quest, some children will come in excited to finish a project they’ve already started. Others may jump into something new using a technique they’ve learned before. And some will begin with a short, simple mini-lesson to learn a new technique before starting a brand new project. No pressure, no perfection—just a space to imagine, create, and enjoy.
When are the classes?
All day time sessions are 1 hour long, with a flexible schedule that’s easy to work around your week:Tuesdays at 11 am and any Drop-in class when SCPS has a no school for students day. Check the calendar here, to find out when the next drop-in session is scheduled. As more homeschool families join, I will happily add more days to the schedule, so invite your homeschool friends to come and join you.
How much does it cost?
Our membership makes enrollment both simple and convenient. There is a one time* enrollment fee of $70 per child or $100 per family. After that you will pay only $67 a month, to be paid in 12 monthly payments. Your card will be charged monthly. No need for you to worry about re-enrolling. Just sign up for the dates and times that work best for you and your family. Unused sessions will NOT roll over, please do your best to schedule and attend your 4 sessions. If you must miss the last session of the month, kindly let me know and I will see what I can do.
What is included?

When can we use these sessions? The 4 sessions a month, that come with the membership can be used any time during our afterschool schedule. They can also be used for "no school day" sessions any time through May 22, 2026. Unused Sessions do NOT roll over but it something happens and you can't make. the last session of the month, talk to me and we will see what I can do.
Do you have a sibling discount?
Yes! To make things a little easier for big families, you’ll receive 25% off the monthly enrollment fee for any siblings beyond the first two. Siblings simply need to live in the same household and share at least one parent unless a child is in the foster care system.
Is there a Happiness Guarantee?
There certainly is, a 100% happiness guarantee! If, after your child's first month, you’re not completely satisfied for any reason, you can cancel your membership hassle-free. Rest assured, you won’t be charged any further and they can keep their apron, pin and sketchbook.
Can I reschedule a class if something comes up?
Absolutely. Life happens! With our easy and flexible rescheduling, you just reschedule your class on the website to a more suitable day/time up to an hour before the new session begins. Class cancelations must be made at least 12 hours before the class you are canceling so that the spot can be opened for another student. Until more homeschool sessions are on the calendar you may reschedule for a drop-in session when SCPS have no school for students or one of our Art Afterschool sessions.
Can we cancel the membership?
Of course, you may cancel anytime. *Please note that unused sessions will expire at the time of cancellation, and a new enrollment fee will be due if you decide to rejoin.
