Each session begins with a quick, 5-minute mini-lesson to introduce a new technique, but after that, the focus is all on choice, creativity, and imagination.

On Dazzle’s Color Quest, your child will discover 12 exciting art mediums, crayon & oil pastels, painted paper, collage, markers, tempera painting, chalk pastel, watercolor, printing, drawing & colored pencil, fiber arts, paper art & Origami plus cardboard & recyclables! They will explore, experiment, and create through playful mini lessons, each one an invitation to dive into new materials and techniques in a way that feels effortless, because learning is simply part of the fun.
Each level of the Color Quest program is designed with different children's abilities in mind. There are 8 different levels for your child to work through.This also means that there can be a variety of ages and abilities in each studio session. This creates a community where older or more advanced artists can become role models and inspiration for younger or less advanced artists.
As your child advances through the 8 levels, they’ll learn fun, new techniques, building confidence as they progress through the rainbow of colored pins & certificates of achievement. Your artists can proudly wear their pins on their FREE apron, each time they visit. This creates a joyful reminder of how far your child has come and a spark of inspiration for those around them.

At the end of each color challenge, your child will be celebrated, receive a certificate and a new colored pin. By the time your child earns their first certificate, you’ll see an incredible transformation.

This program is set up as a monthly membership. For your convenience your membership will renew automatically each month.

The cost is all-inclusive. Along with access to all of the art materials and tools, your child will receive an apron with our logo and their first pin to proudly display their level on Dazzle's Color Quest and all pins that they achieve as the year goes on. Your child will receive a sketchbook of their very own, to record all the fun techniques they are learning and to plan their artworks. After paying the 1 time* enrollment fee, there is nothing else to pay besides the monthly membership fee.

Mon., Wed., Fri. 3:45-4:45pm & Mon. & Wed. 5-6pm
Tues. & Thurs. 3:15-4:15pm & 4:30-5:30pm. Pick what works best for your family and you can change those days and times from month to month.

The easy ability to reschedule. If your child needs to miss a class due to illness, sports, school events, etc. You can cancel your session up to 12 hours before the class begins. and reschedule with ease up to 1 hour before any class begins, no wasted classes, no extra fees.

We do all the clean up! Your child will dive into every medium they love, even those "too messing for home-think glitter," without the cleanup stress. It’s the perfect environment for young artists who crave creative freedom!

Your child will walk into a space filled with color, texture, and possibility—with all art supplies, a new Art Cart Kids apron and sketchbook all provided. There’s nothing for you to prep or purchase, just show up and let the creativity flow. Including an apron, all certificates and pins for Dazzles' Color Quest.

Opportunity for bus/van drop off from your child's school to the studio.
Students who attend Anthony Burns Elementary School can take the SCPS bus to Art Cart Kids for FREE, when they sign up for a Monday, Wednesday or Friday 3:45pm class. This bus drops off next to the studio. Please notify me that they will be coming by bus so I can meet them at the bus stop. You are required to have someone else scheduled to pick up your child at 4:45 at Art Cart Kids. The bus will NOT return to ABES. To use this privilege, you must go to the following link and fill out the Additional Bus Assignment Form or your child will not be allowed on the bus to the Art Cart Kids drop off.
If your child normally takes the bus to this stop, at Registered Chapel and Bells Hill, there is no need to fill out the form, but please notify me that they will be arriving from the bus so I can be there to meet them.
For anyone else, Ms. P’s Kiddie Kab, is a children’s transportation service located here in Stafford. You can arrange for Ms. P's Kiddie Kab to pick your child up from any school and drop them off at Art Cart Kids, for a minimal fee. Learn more here: https://www.mspskiddiekab.com/

Art Cart Kids host several Member Only events and FREE Community events through out the year. Your monthly newsletter will let you know when to enroll before community events open to the public.

Who is this program for?
If your child is in Kindergarten - 8th grade and loves to create, explore, and use their imagination, they’ll feel right at home here. These small group, open-ended, child-choice classes are perfect for kids who enjoy making art in their own unique way.
What will my child do in class?
Every class is centered around creative freedom. As part of Dazzle's Color Quest, some children will come in excited to finish a project they’ve already started. Others may jump into something new using a technique they’ve learned before. And some will begin with a short, simple mini-lesson to learn a new technique before starting a brand new project.
No pressure, no perfection—just a space to imagine, create, and enjoy.
When are the classes?
All after-school sessions are 1 hour long, with a flexible schedule that’s easy to work around your week:

You can mix and match these times each week, whatever works best for your family.
How much does it cost? Our membership makes payments both simple and convenient. There is a one time* enrollment fee of $70 per child or $100 per family. After that you will only pay the monthly membership fee, to be paid in 12 monthly payments each year. Your card will be charged monthly. No need for you to worry about re-enrolling. Just sign up for the dates and times that work best for you and your family. Unused sessions will NOT roll over but if you cannot make the last session of the month, talk to me and I will see what I can do.
When can we use these sessions?
The 4 sessions a month, that come with the membership can be used any time during our afterschool schedule. They can also be used for "no school day" sessions any time through May 22, 2026. Unused sessions will roll over to the next month, with the exception of May. May classes will roll over to August 2026, the start of our school year schedule.
Do you have a sibling discount?
Yes! To make things a little easier for big families, you’ll receive 25% off the monthly enrollment fee for any siblings beyond the first two. Siblings simply need to live in the same household and share at least one parent, unless a child is in the foster care system.
Is there a Happiness Guarantee?
There certainly is, a 100% happiness guarantee!
If, after your child's first month, you’re not completely satisfied for any reason, you can cancel your membership hassle-free. Rest assured, you won’t be charged any further and they can keep their apron, pin and sketchbook.
Can I reschedule a class if something comes up?
Absolutely. Life happens! With our easy and flexible rescheduling, you just reschedule your class on the website to a more suitable day/time up to an hour before the new session begins. Class cancelations must be made at least 12 hours before the class you are canceling so that the spot can be opened for another student.
Can we cancel the membership?
Of course, you may cancel anytime. *Please note that unused sessions will expire at the time of cancellation, and a new enrollment fee may be due if you decide to rejoin at a later time.
