Joining Dazzle's Color Quest is simple.
Choose the session time that works best for your family, and your child will begin their Creative Quest as a Member of Art Cart Kids.
Every new artist begins with a full Membership, where they'll receive an apron with our logo, a studio sketchbook and their white color rank pin at the first class. Next they begin collecting Creativity Badges, and receive a special sticker book to keep them. But mostly they will become part of the Dazzle's Color Quest community.

What is Dazzle's Color Quest?
Dazzle's Color Quest is a child-choice art membership where children are inspired by great artists, create original artwork, and grow into confident, independent thinkers through creativity.
Each month, children discover the story and artwork of one featured artist through an exclusive Super Dazzle comic and a carefully chosen collection of artwork displayed throughout the studio.
Children don't come to Art Cart Kids to learn about artists. They come to be inspired by artists. Rather than copying projects, they use each artist's work as a springboard for their own imagination, ideas, and creative discoveries.
Throughout the month, children practice the four Creative Superpowers:

💭 Imagine – Let inspiration spark your own original ideas.
🧪 Explore – Experiment with materials, solve problems, and discover what works.
💬 Share – Celebrate your ideas and communicate with others.
These aren't just art skills—they're life skills that help children become confident learners both inside and outside the studio.
Every child follows their own Creative Quest. Children choose whether to create in Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, or Building, and are free to explore different materials or continue developing confidence with a favorite medium. There is no pressure to keep up or create the same project as anyone else. Every visit is another opportunity to be inspired, make meaningful choices, and create something uniquely their own.
As children grow, they'll earn Color Ranks and Creativity Badges that celebrate curiosity, creativity, and growing independence.

Every visit begins with a choice.
Artists decide which of the four Art Forms they would like to explore, giving them the freedom to follow their interests while discovering new ways to create.

After each Invitation, artists choose the Art Form that inspires them most. Some enjoy returning to a favorite area to deepen their skills, while others love exploring something new each visit. Every choice becomes part of their own unique Creative Quest.

Creativity Badges
Every artist grows at their own pace, and Creative Badges celebrate the progress they make along the way. Each Artist Member receives a special sticker book created just for collecting the Creativity Badges.
Within each of the four Art Forms, artists have the opportunity to earn new Creativity Badges for each Color Rank as they develop new skills, build confidence, and become more independent creators.

Every Creative Quest begins here.
Explorers are curious, eager to try new materials, and excited to discover what each Art Form has to offer. They learn foundational techniques, ask questions, and begin making thoughtful creative choices.

Creators are growing in confidence.
They combine techniques, make purposeful decisions, solve creative challenges, and begin developing a style that is uniquely their own. They are becoming increasingly independent and take pride in bringing their ideas to life.

Innovators confidently use their imagination to think in original ways.
They experiment, adapt, solve problems, and inspire others through creative thinking. Rather than looking for the "right" answer, they learn to trust their own ideas and discover that creativity has endless possibilities.
Artists can earn Explorer, Creator, and Innovator Badges in each of the four Art Forms, making every visit another opportunity to grow.
As badges are collected over time, children experience one of life's most valuable lessons: meaningful growth comes through curiosity, practice, perseverance, and the courage to keep exploring.

Your Studio Sketchbook
Every Member receives a personal studio sketchbook that stays at Art Cart Kids throughout their Creative Quest.
More than a place to draw, the sketchbook becomes a record of each artist's imagination, discoveries, and growth. Children use it to collect ideas, experiment with new techniques, plan future creations, reflect on their artwork, and celebrate milestones along the way.
As the pages fill, artists begin to see how much they've learned—not because someone tells them, but because they can look back and recognize their own progress.
Many children discover that their sketchbook becomes one of their favorite parts of Dazzle's Color Quest. It is a place where every idea is welcomed, every question can be explored, and every Creative Quest has a story to tell.

Child-Choice Every Day
Every visit begins with an Invitation.
An Invitation is a short introduction that encourages artists to notice something new about the16 Big Ideas (the Elements of Art and Principles of Design.) Every artist receives the same Invitation before beginning their own Creative Quest. All of the invitations are independent of the others, there is no order to them. The16 Big Ideas spiral so that they come up for conversation 3 times every year. The invitations however are completely different questions every week.
Then the Creative Quest becomes your child's own.

These choices are intentional.

Some artists spend several weeks developing one idea, adding new discoveries with each visit. Others enjoy exploring something new every time they come to the studio. Both paths are valuable because every Creative Quest is unique.
By making meaningful choices every week, children develop confidence in their own ideas and learn to trust themselves as creative thinkers. Those are skills that continue to benefit them long after they leave the studio.
