Hi I am Stephanie Cox
I am the owner and children's art teacher for Art CartKids. I have been in business since 2019, but I opened our permanent location at 77 Bells Hill Rd. in Stafford, VA in October of 2023.
I’ve been a licensed teacher since 1995, starting in Los Angeles, California. Over the years, I’ve taught in public, private, and charter schools, working with students from Pre-K to 8th grade. I’m licensed in general education, ESOL, and art, and I hold a Master’s in Educational Administration, which has been a great asset in running Art Cart Kids. I also hold Montessori Certificates for ages 3-6 & 6-9. My background in Montessori Education is what has guided our mission here at Art Cart Kids.
Owning & teaching for Art Cart Kids is my dream job and working with YOUR child to imagine and create unique pieces of art is part of that dream! I can't wait to meet your child.

Studio
Art Cart Kids Enrichment Studio is located on the main floor of a charming former home built in 1957. With its original hardwood floors and classic black-and-white tiled bathroom, the space exudes a cozy, homey charm that makes children and families feel instantly at ease. We are situated in downtown Stafford, around the corner from Stafford Courthouse on a nearly 2 acer piece of property. We enjoy having the outdoor space for special art activities and community events.
Looking ahead, our 5-year plan includes expanding into the basement, creating even more opportunities for your child to explore, imagine, and create. Until then, the unique character of our studio provides the perfect setting for creative growth and memorable experiences!
