About
Art Cart Kids (formally known as The Art Cart - Mobile Art Studio,) offers art classes, camps and paint parties for children in Stafford, VA and the surrounding area. What started as a place for the kids in the neighborhood to be creative and away from digital media during the summer of 2019 has become a full time business for it's owner, Stephanie Cox. In June of 2023 Mrs. Cox opened Art Cart Kids Enrichment Studio at 77 Bells Hill Road in Stafford. This is now our permanent location. The Grand Opening will be August 18th & 19th of 2023.
Mrs. Cox currently teaches all of the classes herself. She holds a VA Teaching License with endorsements in Visual Art, Elementary Education and ESOL and a California Teaching Credential and Supplementary Credential in Art. All combined, she has 27 years of teaching experience.
Mrs. Cox believes that every child deserves an art education, as art help students develop skills not only in creativity, but in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, citizenship and many more. Her wish is to be able to provide art classes FREE of charge to children who cannot afford them.
