Featured Local Artists

Part of the mission of Art Cart Kids is to create an "Art Culture" here in Stafford. Every quarter you will be able to see the work of several very talented local artists in the "guest room" at Art Cart Kids. On this page you can read a little about each artist and few a samples of their work. Cassie Bindis
Artist At Marigold Song Designs

Cassie is is "a simple artist from Ohio who appreciates nature, science, and the relationship between them. My art focus is on making the beauty of small things and moments accessible for every home." She received her BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing.

She studied at Bowling Green State University. She opened Marigold Song Designs in 2017 selling her artwork and custom commissions. She currently resides in Stafford with her husband, kids and dog.

Therisa Bennett

Therisa is "a life long painter,"who primarily works in oil. She received her BA in Art from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. She moved to Stafford with her family in 2017. While her heart is in Alaska, she continues to be inspired by and is enjoying all of the history and energy of the beautiful State of Virginia.

Therisa is generously donating 10% of the sales at Art Cart Kids to the "Art Cart Sponsorship Fund" to help any child who wants to learn how to express themselves through art but doesn't have the funds.
